X + Y Stool and Table
The X+Y Stool and Table are designed to efficiently use the laminated bamboo material when nested during CNC production. The aesthetic of the pieces projects a refined organic form with the use of curved edges and DNA patterning. The inspiration for the pieces is based upon the social interaction between people in cafes and casual dining areas and highlights the biological chemistry that enables these interactions to occur.
