Gasworks - Dump + Burn
Inspired by the F111 fly over (the climax of Brisbane's Riverfire), the Dump and Burn pendant light displays the meandering forms of the Brisbane River which are vibrantly lit up with the glow of the afterburn - a phenomenon that has been a signature experience of living in the river city. The installation is made up of 2 x 5m LED tube sections threaded with 25m of bamboo veneer, as part of the Gasworks 'Generate' Exhibition curated by IAM Projects.
